the breakfast had delicious scrambled eggs and crispy bacon, a good way to begin my day. the parking was convenient, secure, and free, a real plus for me. my motorcycle felt safe overnight, a relief.
my room, a bit small, had a slight cigarette smell, a bit bothersome since i don't smoke. there was no soap in the room. it was missing tea making facilities.

The room was clean I found the bed comfortable. The hotel location is near shops I thought that was convenient. The staff was pleasant I appreciated their help. I found it easy to access the Eurotunnel from here.
The bathroom could benefit from some updating though it was functional.

smooth check-in clear instructions late check-out comfortable stay
the self check-in process worked smoothly even arriving late at night. instructions were clear. i liked the later standard check-out time, very helpful.
the vending machine took my money and didn't give me a coffee.

faulty machine overdue updates
The vending machine situation was just sad. I put my money in, waited for a coffee that never came, and got a 'fault' message. only water that night, it seems. A very cruel joke. also, the room updates are seriously overdue. Mold around the window and strange smells in the bathroom, it felt a bit like stepping back in time, but not in a good way.

The location was great for catching an early ferry. I found ample parking available on site. The room was clean and simple (just what i needed).
The automatic check-in machine was not working properly. I had to call a staff member to get the room number and entrance code, that was not practical at all. The room was small. The noise cancellation was bad at night.
